In this video update Nicky talks about her recent trip into the Red Zone and some of the developments that have taken place in recent weeks. Nicky also talks about some of the positive developments around the protection of historical building frontage within the Red Zone and the rebuilding of residential buildings in the city.

In her latest update Nicky talks about her recent trip to China. Nicky discusses the contributions that China made in response to the Christchurch Earthquakes and the rebuild. She then goes on to discuss some of the visits she made in China, including New Zealand Trade and Enterprise as well as a number of Chinese- New Zealand joint ventures. Nicky then goes on to discuss her visit to the Energy Conservation and Environment Protection Authority in Beijing and some of the research that is being done there. Nicky finishes by talking about the importance of the relationship between New Zealand and China.

In her latest video update Nicky talks about some of the good news that has come out of the Christchurch region recently. This includes the latest export figures from the Port of Lyttleton, NCEA Level 1, 2 and 3 results for 2011 and the decrease in reported crime.
